Welcome!

Message from the President

The Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta (SUACOA) is alive and well with new leadership and a very enthusiastic Board!  First, I'd like to thank outgoing Club President, Suzanne Butler, who was so instrumental in reviving the club with all her hard work, high energy, and abundant spirit. She's moved on to Chicago and we wish her the best of luck! Second, I'd like to introduce myself, Rick Annenberg ('77, '97 and 42 years in Syracuse) as well as fellow Board Members Mike Fenech (Treasurer), Robert Leach  (Social Coordinator), Tania Phillips (Student Relations Coordinator and brand new mother!), Shadé Akande (Web Master), Alex Martinowsky, and Brian O'Loughlin.
Currently we're planning a series of social and networking events including a golf tournament, Braves game outing, our annual dinner in the spring, revolving happy hours, and of course game watching throughout the next several months as the sports schedules dictate. We held our new student sendoff, participated in the  reception for SU Lacrosse Coach John Desko, and are looking forward to this year's college fairs and our local scholarship presentation.
The club of course, is a non-profit organization, but we need participation and the support of our membership to enable us to provide quality and worthwhile Syracuse University events here in Atlanta. We encourage you to  check out our website, suacoa.com, for club information and periodic updates and certainly welcome your feedback and suggestions for future events.
              Thanks,
                 Rick
